The Starving Baker Personal growth and wellness is important to leadership. We sometimes are more worried about others and fulfilling our duties that we simply forget about ourselves. Welcome to LEAD 175, Living and Learning to Lead!

Hello Emerging Leaders! I am so pleased and eager to work with you all in this course! My name is Calvin Joyner and I will be your instructor. Throughout our time, we will learn some of the most important essentials to being an effective leader. We will be using two particular texts: The Student Leadership Challenge: Five Practices for Exemplary Leaders (James M. Kouzes & Barry Z. Posner) and Habitudes (Dr. Tim Elmore). For our online class blog, we will read from Habitudes . As student leaders, you will have the opportunity to engage in many topics that deal with leadership.
